In lieu of the National Young Adult Leaders Conference (NYALC) no longer going ahead, Retreat Yourself is now open to young adults from across the national Uniting Church.
The gathering will be an opportunity to build community, grow as disciples, eat great food, and hear stories about what God is doing in people's lives. There will also be a free, optional leadership day starting the afternoon of 1 February lasting until the afternoon of 2 February. The NSW/ACT Moderator, Rev. Mata Havea Hiliau, will be joining for this time making it an opportunity you don’t want to miss!
The NSW/ACT Synod is subsidising the cost, so it is $200 per person for early birds until 31 December 2023, then $250 per person until 22 January 2024 when registrations close. Participants will need to organise and pay for their own transport to and from the venue.
Congregations and Presbyteries are encouraged to financially support their Young Adult cohort to enable them to attend. Donations to support the camp or sponsor a Young Adult to attend are greatly appreciated. Hope to see you in Gerringong!
