New National Director For Frontier Services

The Assembly is delighted to announce the Assembly Standing Committee (ASC) has appointed Rob Floyd as the National Director for Frontier Services.

Rob is an outstanding and well-respected leader in the Uniting Church. He brings extensive experience in senior leadership, having served as Associate General Secretary of the Assembly for five years and previous to this as National Director of UnitingWorld.

In recent months, Rob has been Acting National Director for Frontier Services. He has embraced the Frontier Services vision for supporting people in remote and rural Australia.

“I offer our warmest congratulations to Rob on behalf of the Board and wish him every blessing as he continues to lead Frontier Services,” said Ms Lisa Sampson, Chair of the Frontier Services Board.

“Rob has and will continue to offer strong leadership to Frontier Services, alongside the Frontier Services staff.”

Rob is a collaborative and effective leader with extensive experience in governance, finance, administration and Uniting Church polity. His previous work in program management, building international partnerships and making connections throughout the Uniting Church will contribute to his work at Frontier Services.

Rob is passionate about raising funds and advocating for people in remote and rural Australia and is looking forward to leading this important ministry of the Uniting Church.
