LIVING A JOYFUL FAITH
Worship & Community
As Christians and members of the Uniting Church, worship is a fundamental activity that draws us together. When we gather in worship, we respond to God’s invitation to be loved and we encounter God’s own gracious self-revelation through word and sacrament.Emerging Generations
The Uniting Church is committed to discipling emerging generations to live out lives of faith and service. We recognise that developing young leaders and allowing space for them to lead is vital in the renewal of our Church.
How we see Mission
The Uniting Church often uses the phrase “the reconciliation and renewal of the whole creation” (based on the Basis of Union, paragraph 3) as a shorthand way of describing God’s mission in the world, and as a result the Uniting Church sees ‘mission’ as more than simply preaching or seeking to convert people.
