LIVING A JOYFUL FAITH
Worship & CommunityAs Christians and members of the Uniting Church, worship is a fundamental activity that draws us together. When we gather in worship, we respond to God’s invitation to be loved and we encounter God’s own gracious self-revelation through word and sacrament.
The Uniting Church is committed to discipling emerging generations to live out lives of faith and service. We recognise that developing young leaders and allowing space for them to lead is vital in the renewal of our Church.
How we see Mission
The Uniting Church often uses the phrase “the reconciliation and renewal of the whole creation” (based on the Basis of Union, paragraph 3) as a shorthand way of describing God’s mission in the world, and as a result the Uniting Church sees ‘mission’ as more than simply preaching or seeking to convert people.
Called to be a Church for All
A Liturgy that acknowledges both the experiences of exclusion and embrace for people with disabilities.
Connecting Families, Nurturing Faith
A resource for ministry leaders to encourage discipleship across households.
The Uniting Church seeks to empower younger people to join in God’s mission by equipping and releasing them to do so. Get involved with how we support the next generations of Christian faith and connect with others who share this passion.
When we gather in worship, we respond to God’s invitation to be loved and we encounter God’s own gracious self-revelation through word and sacrament. Engage with and contribute to the way we think creatively about worship in the Uniting Church.
Being in relationship with others is instrumental to how the Uniting Church seeks to witness to Christ in the world. Learn about and participate in the Uniting Church’s relationships with people from other Churches, other faiths, and people of no faith, as we seek to find common ground for the good of all.
