Living the Covenant Locally
Living the Covenant Locally is a grass roots movement, made up of congregations, faith communities, schools and agencies, who are growing in understanding, encouraging others, connecting with UAICC and/or other First Nations Peoples locally and who then are equipped to take action, Walking Together as First and Second Peoples, in binding covenant relationship.
The Walking Together as First and Second Peoples Circles invites you to explore listed resources below for study, worship, advocacy and more.
Your community is asked to register and commit to undertake study and engage in one or more of the ways suggested - Listen and Learn (Introductory Resources), Going Deeper (Bible and Theological Resources) and Action (Liturgy, Advocacy, Partnering).
We ask you to encourage other communities to register for a study and help us grow this grass roots movement, committed to deepening relationship as you Live the Covenant Locally.

ARTWORK
Thank you to Grace Williams for the Living the Covenant artwork in the banner above.
The piece is titled "The Invitation".
The hands in the middle signify a welcoming bilateral relationship in its most simplistic form of two hands joining. The shapes positioned on the outside are multilayered in their meaning. On appearance they are mere circles, signifying no distinguished beginning or end. However, they also act as yarning spaces/tables. This is important in any invitation. There must be a mutual, open and receptive meeting space and place to establish, build, strengthen and continue to evolve relationships/connections.
The line work is finished in an abstract manner on purpose. This highlights the individual paths we all embark on, sometimes they overlap, sometimes they are diagonal, or sometimes they simply have no set direction. But they all interconnect along the way somewhere, maybe this is our common ground or purpose.
The colours of these shapes represent the skies, seas, earth and sun - some of the best foundations to build relations on.
How will you embrace "the invitation"?
