Take Action for Palestine: Write to the government

Use this template letter made available by the Assembly to write to the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister or your local MP urging action for a just peace and an end to occupation.

This letter is based on the official position of the Uniting Church Assembly, following the adoption of the World Council of Churches statement by the Assembly Standing Committee in June 2025.

The template letter is provided as a Word document, allowing for edits to ensure the letter is authentic to you or your Uniting Church community.

We expect Uniting Church members will be respectful in all communications with the Government, and if communicating under the name of the Uniting Church in Australia, to faithfully represent the positions of the Church.
