National Reconcilation Week
The Assembly Resourcing Unit has produced a National Reconciliation Week resource for 2020.
The resource includes reflections from UCA President Dr Deidre Palmer and Interim National Chairperson of UAICC Pr Mark Kickett, and endorses the Reconciliation Sunday material produced by Tarlee Leondaris, Covenanting Officer at the Synod of South Australia.
2020 is a year of significant anniversaries, including the walks for reconciliation in the year 2000, when hundreds of thousands of Australians joined in public expressions of solidarity with First Peoples.
National Reconciliation Week is a great time to reflect on our Church's journey, and to retell our own stories of when we have walked together as First and Second Peoples, and think about how we continue that journey.
As the theme for NRW 2020 says, we are in this together.
