On 28 November, join your church online for song, silence, love and lament for the Holy Land

We are now more than one year into the devastating Israel-Hamas war ravaging Palestine and the Holy Lands. More than 1,200 Israelis and 44,000 Palestinians have been killed since October 2023. Over the past few weeks we have seen the expansion of conflict to Lebanon where 2,500 people have been killed and more than one million displaced. Many tens of thousands have been injured across the whole region. Gaza is a humanitarian catastrophe and northern Gaza is besieged.
We feel further from a ceasefire than ever, and like the psalmist, our hearts cry out to God from the depths for justice and peace.
The Uniting Church Assembly's Working for Justice Circle will host an online prayer vigil on Thursday 28 November from 7:30-8:30pm AEDT. Register for the Zoom below.
