As we share stories about what it means to be a church that is welcoming and inclusive of all generations, the Assembly Resourcing Unit is inviting people to share their stories and insights in an online conversation.
Join us for Let's Yarn about our Intergenerational Church on Thursday 9 Sep 2021 .
- What does it mean to be an Intergenerational church?
- How do we share in worship and community across generations?
- How can we be both Intergenerational and Intercultural?
- How do we equip and make space for the younger generations to take on leadership roles within the church?
Intergenerational is one of four pillars in the most recent Strategic Plan of the Assembly describing centres of future work and development needed to enable the church to move boldly and confidently into the future.
We would love to hear what our intergenerational church looks like from where you are standing, and yarn some more about the possibilities to come.
"The future of our church depends on our ability not only to worship intergenerationally, but to enable all generations within the Church to engage in decision-making, to offer leadership and to shape missional activities."
