UCA Act2

Harmony Week: Child safe in many languages

Our Church is committed to being a safe church for all people, especially children and young people.  That’s why we’re committed to the Principles of a Child Safe UCA. These principles support us in growing our child safe culture across the life of the Church, helping children and young people feel safe, supported and connected.

UCA posters sharing the principles are now available in eight languages - Chinese, English, Fijian, Korean, Indonesian, Niuean, Portuguese and Spanish – from our National Safe Church website or look out for communication from your Synod about Synod-branded copies.

Please display them in your church, presbytery or workspace, especially in locations visible to children and young people.

Kind thanks to everyone across the Church whose gifts of language and time helped with these translations.

If you print and display a poster, we’d love you to share a photo of it in place! If people are in the photo, please follow your Synod’s photo permission process. Email photos to info@safechurch.uca.org.au

Happy Harmony Week!
