16th Assembly
UCA Act2

It's been a huge fortnight in aged care. With the release of the Royal Commission’s Final Report, UnitingCare Australia, as part of the Australian Aged Care Collaboration (AACC),  has continued to share the key message: ‘It’s time to care about aged care’.

Thank you to all of you who have signed the petition and shown support for the campaign by sharing it with your networks.

The Prime Minister has committed to major reform of the aged care system, beginning with the May 2021 Federal Budget. UnitingCare and others across the sector will hold the Government to account and highlight the issues and solutions across all areas of Government.

The campaign now has more than 15,000 signatures to its petition, but there's a huge opportunity to do better. Please share the campaign with your congregation, your family, your friends – everyone has a role to play.
