In a new regular series this year, we’re excited to be featuring some of the inspirational people who make up the Uniting Church. Check out the growing hub of stories here.
If you know of someone with a great story to tell, contact us and nominate them to be featured.
This week we hear from Anna Wilson. Anna is a member of the Assembly Standing Committee and attends Ascot Community Uniting Church in South Australia. Following a Cert IV in Christian Ministry and Theology, Anna is now studying Disability and Community Inclusion.

What’s your Uniting Church story?
I grew up in the Uniting Church and started being involved in the wider church after finishing school. I enjoy being part of committees and seeing what goes on in the life of the church.
What enlivens your faith?
Studying theology and ministry, and spending time with God. I enjoy study because I can learn more about God and deepen my faith and understanding.
What’s one thing you’d like to change, or something you hope for?
I hope for more young people to feel at home in the church, and also that all people can feel included and like they have a place in the church.
What's one thing you would like the rest of the Uniting Church to pray for?
The Act2 Project. It is a good way to reflect on who we are as a church and think about what is important to us. Pray for the people involved in facilitating this and the changes that may come from this as well as acknowledging the great things that already happen in the UCA.
