Our Intercultural Church

In our Assembly Strategic Plan we identify four key pillars that drive our future work and areas of development needed for the church to move boldly and confidently into the future.

One of these pillars is Intercultural, encapsulating how we seek to live as a community transcending cultural and other barriers, and in which the rich diversity of God’s created peoples is seen and celebrated.

In the coming weeks, we will be sharing stories that tell something of our journey towards being a genuinely multicultural church, living faith and life cross-culturally. In our first story, Assembly National Consultant Rev Dr Apwee Ting outlined the UCA's journey of coming to understand its identity as both a multicultural and intercultural church. Read more below.
